QR Scanner Lite ("the App") is a utility application for scanning and generating QR codes and barcodes. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses and how it is used.
The App does not collect, transmit, or share:
Camera
The App requests camera access solely to scan QR codes and barcodes in real time. Camera frames are processed entirely on your device and are never stored or transmitted.
Photo Library (Read)
When you choose to scan a code from an image, the App reads the selected photo locally to detect any QR code or barcode. The photo is not copied, stored by the App, or sent anywhere.
Photo Library (Write)
When you tap "Save to Photos," the generated code image is saved to your device's photo library. No data is uploaded or shared in this process.
Scan and generation history is stored locally on your device using iOS standard storage (NSUserDefaults). This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you clear the history or uninstall the App.
The App does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or remote services. There are no in-app purchases or account systems.
The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Because no personal data is collected at all, the App is safe for users of all ages.
If we update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
